Prof. Dave Craw

Professor of Economic Geology

Prof. Dave Craw is Professor of economic geology at the University of Otago. He has been researching gold deposits, both orogenic and placer, for 35 years. He is particularly interested in tectonic processes that lead to gold concentration in the crust and in the surficial environment. Prof. Craw is also working on environmental issues associated with gold mining especially with respect to arsenic.
