Her areas of expertise include leadership development, governance, culture change and board and executive team dynamics. She has worked in the executive teams at NAB, Orica and North Limited during significant periods of company and sector transformation and led substantial change initiatives.

During her executive career Michaela has dealt with many demanding leadership and commercial issues and experienced a wide range of reputation, governance and industry challenges. She has had a sustained commitment to improving diversity and inclusion and addressing inequity in the workplace and communities.

Her early years in the mining, energy and manufacturing industries provided solid foundation in business operations, transformation, productivity, strategy and community relations. Her experience in financial services enhanced her understanding of governance, risk, capital management, funding, regulators, governance, digital disruption, culture and government and shareholder relations.

She is an inspiring leader and coach with a proven track record in stakeholder engagement, achievement of improved outcomes, performance alignment and cultural change backed by a commitment to driving sustainable results and improved social outcomes.
